IXU Capital Rules Explained: Every Limit in One Place

By Usman Khalid, founder and owner of IXU Capital

Every IXU Capital trading rule in one guide — loss limits, targets, minimum days, risk per trade, hold time, news, weekends, margin and prohibited strategies, and which are warnings vs breaches.

Rules are what separate a funded account from a closed one. Here is every IXU Capital limit in one place, and how each one is enforced. Your exact rules are locked when you buy and shown on your dashboard from the first minute.

Loss limits — hard breaches

Both loss limits are static and measured from your starting balance. Crossing either ends the account immediately.

  • One-Step Standard: 4% daily, 6% overall.
  • Two-Step Standard: 5% daily, 10% overall.
  • Instant Funding: 3% daily, 6% overall.
  • Daily Payouts (One-Step and Two-Step): 4% daily, 8% overall.

Profit targets and minimum days

  • One-Step Standard: 10%.
  • Two-Step Standard: 8%, then 5%.
  • Daily Payouts: 12% on One-Step; 12% then 6% on Two-Step.
  • Instant Funding: no target — you are funded from day one.

Every evaluation phase needs at least 3 trading days before you can pass, and there is no time limit. A pass counts once your balance has held above the target for a 2-minute confirmation window.

Funded-stage rules

  • Maximum risk per trade: 2% on One-Step and Two-Step Standard; 1% per trade and 2% per trade idea on Daily Payouts; 1% of equity on Instant Funding, where reaching −1% equity permanently terminates the account.
  • Minimum hold time: every position must be held for at least 2 minutes.

Soft rules — a warning first, then a breach

  • Holding a funded position for under 2 minutes (those trades are also excluded from your results).
  • Opening or closing a position within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact news event on that pair (One-Step and Two-Step). Instant Funding restricts high-impact news entirely.
  • Using more than 80% margin at any time.

Other hard rules

  • No weekend holding on One-Step, Two-Step or Instant Funding — close every position before the weekend.
  • Trade at least once every 14 calendar days. Fourteen days with no trading breaches the account.
  • No hedging: holding a buy and a sell on the same instrument at the same time for more than 1 minute is an immediate breach.

Prohibited strategies

High-frequency trading, every form of arbitrage, hedging across the same or linked accounts, copy or group trading across accounts, tick scalping, exploiting price-feed errors and martingale or all-in trading are prohibited on every account. Changing your MT5 password is also prohibited — if your login can no longer be verified, the account is suspended for review.

Leverage

Leverage is 1:50 on One-Step, 1:100 on Two-Step and 1:30 on Instant Funding.

All IXU Capital accounts are simulated. This guide summarises the rules; the Terms of Service on our homepage are the full, binding version.
